Hello, we're seeing OSM slowdowns in Utah and California offices, where we tested it. Is there a system wide issue, and is there any ETA on fixes? Thank you.

Just for completeness, what is it that you are using that is slowing down? If it's not "editing the map" you may be able to find some other service still using OSM data.

I'm using a browser, here's an example URL:

 https://www.openstreetmap.org/#map=11/40.6710/-112.2336

If I zoom out or in, it will load really slow or not load tiles at all.

The question has been closed for the following reason "Problem likely outdated -- The server move is complete since 12. August ( https://mobile.twitter.com/OSM_Tech/status/1028591535795970048 ) and changes to the tile cache config were made (thanks for the report, Brian!)." by aseerel4c26 16 Aug '18, 06:37

Please see https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Platform_Status "Performance degraded until about 5th August (server move ongoing)".

Further, please note that the free service at https://www.openstreetmap.org (and its standard tiles) is driven solely by volunteers and donations. This service is primarily meant for contributing community members. There is no SLA. If you need that in your offices (and if you have a high usage volume!) please switch to a professional map service using OSM data.

Your offices are in the US, so this is likely related: OSM_tech team wrote on 1. Aug. 2018: "The tile.openstreetmap.org cluster has been over capacity in North America for the last few days. Anyone able to offer a high-traffic server in North America?"

See also the list of free and commercial tile servers listed at the end of https://operations.osmfoundation.org/policies/tiles/ . Depending on what you want to do, it might also be worth thinking about creating your own tile server - see https://switch2osm.org/ for more details.
