How to extract a building footprint height values of all buildings in Chennai, India. asked 06 Feb '18, 09:43 Prashanth Esri aseerel4c26 ♦ |
I'd be rather surprised if we have any building height there. This query, which would be a suitable way to acquire height data, suggests that there aren't any mapped heights: http://overpass-turbo.eu/s/vU2. answered 06 Feb '18, 13:26 SK53 ♦ 2
However there are a few "building:levels" mapped which can serve as a rough indicator for building heights: https://overpass-turbo.eu/s/vWt

@vigran09: please click on the overpass-turbo links provided above and click "run". That's what is in the OSM database. (by the way: I have converted your question from an "answer" into a "comment".)
