Should all be working again now. There was an invalid firewall rule on the local tile cache server serving your location. The firewall issue has been resolved and the sysadmin team will over time add additional checks to prevent such an instance from occurring again. answered 15 Jan '15, 18:16 Firefishy |
See TomH's (a OSM server admin) comment at https://www.openstreetmap.org/user/Littlebtc/diary/28429 (tiles via httpS not reachable from Taiwan). Note: According to our geo dns map Taiwan is also served via the server "hsinchu" as you are (see your nslookup or the geo dns map), so the explanation should apply to you too. So, just wait until the problem is solved or use/view alternative tiles. I guess you also could circumvent DNS (hosts file, …) to use another tile server for you, but that would be not very easy. Update: For Taiwan: "15 January 2015 at 02:29 It's working now!" (from the diary entry) answered 13 Jan '15, 18:20 aseerel4c26 ♦ @Firefishy: meta: Huh, why did you vote down my answer? Is there anything unhelpful?!

"tile.openstreetmap.org" may point to different places depending on where you are in the world, so where are you?
What does "nslookup tile.openstreetmap.org" from the command line or shell prompt return?
Your images return a 403 error for me. Please upload your images to this site ("edit" your question text and use the toolbar). And, if possible, use the png format for screenshots.
For info I can see the images but they don't contain enough detail to add more information.
I'd imagine that the thing that stops the questioner uploading them here is lack of reputation points. …EDIT: No, subsequent testing suggests this isn't true.
@don lego: thanks for your images (I have added them to your question text).
@don lego: does it work for you if you do not access via httpS but via http?
Regarding your question: yes, https://www.openstreetmap.org works for me - including tiles (Germany) and I do not see conspicuous patterns in munin for the last 3 days (looks normal). Do the alternative tiles from MapQuest work?
yes http is work but no with https. it happen from monday til now
