Why has Maxar Premium Imagery been removed from the imagery list of options? It was the most up-to-date imagery from the entire list. A portion of the mapping I've done thus far does not now correspond with Bing or any other option on the list.

Both Maxar Premium and Standard imageries are suspended.

If using iD, you should check out RapiD. It still has Facebook's Maxar imagery (not necessarily the same), plus the Map With AI boost. (I'm surprised the "loophole"/workaround mentioned in the comments of that diary entry is not patched earlier))

I'm very new to OSM and only map locally to assist in 911 services. I have no clue as to the inner workings of the programs/options used in OSM. I have no problem mapping buildings and streets on a small scale, but when new imagery gets replaced with older imagery, you can imagine the frustration. Why is Google Earth not used? They're imagery is only 6 months old for my location.

@Todd google (in general) does not have terms of use nor licenses that would be compatible with using material from them or derived from them in OSM. Maxar had to pause the services because of some bad actors, and once that is resolve it will be back.

2020-03-04 Maxar imagery is back! However, the JOSM notes telling us that very welcome fact forgot to mention that in order to use it you will have to download and install the latest version of JOSM first. (v. 15937). Hopefully, this will save others some frustration.
