Hello I've drawn my first path on openstreetmap. It has appeared a few hours after but according to the level of zoom(magnify) it doesn't appear or it dos not appear completely or it appears completely (with a close view) , what can be an explanation to that ?

And other little thing, why doesn't it appear at all on opencyclemap (which I thought was built on openstreetmap) ?

Thanks for answers

Hi tyver29! Welcome to OSM!

Please try not to merge several questions into one "question" entry here, that makes it more useful for others with the same question. And if you are lucky you will find a already answered question even before posting your question. But, in doubt, just ask in any form! ... and: have fun with OSM! :-)

Thanks for help. It works now on openstreetmaps, if I understand well, I have to wait a little bit more for it to work on opencyclemap - The strange thing is that on my app (used for biking) Locus Map (Android app) which is based on opencyclemap, I can draw tracks which follow the path I've added in openstreetmap even though I don't see this path on my app : how strange !!!

@tyver29: OpenCycleMap is, as far as I know, just a "map" service. Hence, the routing in Locus comes from somewhere else. And this "somewhere else" seems to be updated already.

Hi, don't worry, different map layers has different update intervals. The cyclemap in northern Italy takes about 14 days to update, while the main layer usually needs few tens of minutes. Remember to refresh your browser page using Ctrl+F5, so that the browser cache gets deleted, otherwise you'll keep seeing the old tiles.
