Hi Everybody

I'm using umap with markers and Links in it. Now I would like to give specific data from that marker to the link. E.g. a marker has a type of honey (e.g. Blütenhonig) and the link should take this information into the linked page (there in a specific field). Is that possible? Hope it is clear enough.

Thanks in advance. Matthias

addition for clarification:

I have the following text in the marker:

Mike Tester
Downing Street 49
34632 London
Order [as a link]

The text above "Order" should be transferred as data to the website where the link goes to. And there I has to be put in a specific field. Is that possible to transfer the text/data over the link "Order" so that it can be use on the other side of the link?

Yes, you can for example put this in the popup template:

[[https://duckduckgo.com/?q={genus}]]

And it will show a link to a search on the "genus" attribute of the OSM object.

Dear Nicolas Dumoulin

Thanks for your answer. I tried it. When I click on the link it just transfered me an duckduckgo nothing else more. Should there come a popup with the question "genus"? Where I can enter text? What I need is that I can use the text from the marker in another website where the link goes to (here the link [[http://www.honig-vom-imker.swiss/deutsch/honig-direkt-vom-imker/honig-bestellen/|Honig bestellen]]) and fill that text in a specific field. Is that possible?

Thanks in advance for your answer. Imkerhuus

In my example, I suppose that your data have an attribute "genus". Here is an example where the whole link is contained is an attribute "test_url" in the data. http://umap.openstreetmap.fr/fr/map/untitled-map_103107#7/49.074/7.218

In this example, the popup content is:

# {name}
 [[{test_url}|link]]
