How can i install and use an OSM map of Holland in my Garmin GPS Dakota 20. I have tried but it is for me not posseble to do this. Please help I downloaded te map and then i unzipped the map. After that i unpakked the map en copied the map to a micro SD card. After that i put the SD card in my GPS, Dakota 20. My GPS does not see the map(SD card). What have i done wrong or did i forget something? |

Likely you will be helped by looking at the maaany old (already answered) Garmin questions – see the tags below your question. For example: basic-guide-to-download-osm-to-garmin-gps. For example get a pre-made map from http://garmin.openstreetmap.nl/ (osm_generic_gmapsupp.zip from the download options). You need to copy the .img file into a "Garmin" directory on the SD card. it would be useful to know where (which website exactly) you downloaded your map and what its filename is.
